2020’s sold-out Outlaw Country Cruise 5’s extensive lineup kept fans rocking though the entire trip that sailed January 29th – February 3rd, 2020 from Miami to Key West, FL and Falmouth, Jamaica. Over 30 artists including The Mavericks, Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle & The Dukes, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Kris Kristofferson, Shooter Jennings, Son Volt, Elizabeth Cook, Waco Brothers, Carlene Carter, Kinky Friedman, Lee “Scratch” Perry, Dale Watson And His Lone Stars, Jesse Dayton, Supersuckers, Bottle Rockets, Robbie Fulks, Jim Lauderdale, Larry Campbell & Teresa Williams, NRBQ, The Long Ryders, Jason Ringenberg, Warner E. Hodges, The Yayhoos, Jesse Malin, Sarah Borges, Rosie Flores, Deke Dickerson, The Mastersons, Jon Langford & Skull Orchard, Ramblin’ Deano, Larry “Ratso” Sloman, Laura Cantrell, Jaime Wyatt, Sarah Gayle Meech, Waylon Payne, Paula Nelson Band, Folk Uke, Heybale!, Dallas Wayne, Roger Alan Wade, Mojo Nixon, Tommy Townsend, W. Earl Brown, Mary Lee’s Corvette, Ted Russell Kamp, and Buick 6 combined for 100 shows over the 5 days at sea.

Memorable moments occurred at every turn onboard the Outlaw Country Cruise 5 including a tribute to Outlaw icon Kris Kristofferson hosted by actor W. Earl Brown (featuring songs written by Kristofferson performed in front of the legend, who then took the stage and was joined by the full ensemble for his 1973 classic “Why Me”), as well as an unlikely appearance by Jamaican reggae/dub legend Lee “Scratch” Perry, who boarded the boat in Falmouth Bay and took the pool stage with the Waco Brothers to stir up a Punky Reggae Party (the title of 1977 Bob Marley track produced by Perry). Perry also joined Jesse Dayton on stage, and hosted an Art Workshop in which he painted a large canvas in front of a live audience. Guests were also treated to four SiriusXM Sessions at Sea radio tapings – hosted by SiriusXM Outlaw Country on-air personalities Mojo Nixon, Elizabeth Cook, Steve Earle, and Shooter Jennings-- autograph opportunities with performers alongside other exclusive artist activities, multiple performances across five stages, a bevy of unique musical collaborations and “guitar pull” song swaps to name a few.

While in port in Jamaica, Carlene Carter visited the Cinnamon Hill home that Johnny Cash and June Carter previously owned to reminisce and spend time with friends including Kris Kristofferson. Having spent years vacationing there with her family, during her SiriusXM Sessions at Sea hosted by dear friend and Outlaw Country DJ Elizabeth Cook, Carter said, “Yesterday was probably one of the greatest days of my life...and y’all, I’ve lived a life.”
