Original AC/DC Band Members Reunite for Killer Single "Shot in the Dark," & Announce Upcoming Album

AC/DC has returned with a new single, "Shot In The Dark," and it's a throwback classic rock fans have been waiting for. The song includes the surviving original members of the band, Brian Johnson, Phil Rudd, and Cliff Williams - they join founder Angus Young for the single and an upcoming album for the first time since 2008, following Johnson's problems with hearing loss, Williams' retirement, and Johnson's legal issues.

The single has the same classic AC/DC style to it, with their rocking chant "A shot in the dark" repeating throughout the chorus. The signature heavy guitar & drums that fill the track make the perfect accompaniment for the cheeky lyrics Johnson sings in his distinct angsty voice that's given the "Back in Black" band their sound. It's a killer track that'll bring back all the nostalgia of the classic rock era when AC/DC started making waves. "Shot in the Dark" is the first single released from the band's upcoming album, POWER UP, which will include 12 tracks - several featuring lyrics written by the band's late guitarist and co-founder Malcolm Young. Young's nephew Stevie Young stepped up after he passed in 2017 to take his place playing rhythm guitar, and continues to do so on the upcoming project created in honor of Malcolm Young.

Power Up is set for release on November 13th, and will be the band's first release in six years. While you wait, you can stream and download "Shot in the Dark" everywhere now.
