Liam Gallagher's, “Diamond in the Dark”, shapes an experimental form from the Ex-Oasis Frontman

‘Diamond In The Dark’, the latest single from former Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher, showcases his voice with a shiny finish as it cuts through fans expectations. A contagious rhythm section backs the notorious frontman as he nears his fourth U.K number 1 album.

The last single from his newly released album, C’mon You Know, has fans enjoying his different direction, with many comparing it to an Arctic Monkeys, A.M, esque track that leads with swagger and a compelling drum beat. Even though it’s much different from his previous work, many fans have embraced the song as it still feels familiar and showcases Gallagher’s distinctive voice in a better light. One of the first tracks from the album, it leaves the listener hungry to find out if the rest of the album follows a similar direction or if it continues to defy usual expectations.

The song also features a strong chorus that fans can sing along to which will certainly be heard at his upcoming two night residency at Knebworth Park, which played a significant part for his former band, Oasis’s, success, famously selling out two nights there

back in 1996. With Gallagher selling out both nights

on his own in 2022, and a chart rising third studio album to match the first two, fans are now questioning if long hopes of an Oasis reunion are even necessary.

The final single features as the second track, on his third studio effort as a solo artist, C’mon You Know, released on May 27, 2022.
