"Kiss Me More": The Collaboration by Doja Cat and SZA
Doja Cat and SZA released “Kiss Me More” on April 9, 2021. This collab is the first look into Doja’s upcoming third album, “Planet Her.” Doja described her upcoming album as “giving divine feminism,” and it is rumored to feature Ariana Grande, French Montana, Megan Thee Stallion, and more. Doja Cat was born and raised in Los Angeles, and started her music career on SoundCloud as a teenager. Her top three songs are “Streets,” “Best Friend” which she features on with Saweetie, and the song that hit the charts influenced by a TikTok dance, “Say So.”
“Kiss Me More,” was co-written by Doja Cat, SZA, Yeti Beats, Rogét Chahayed, tizhimself, and Carter Lang. Back in March, SZA interviewed Doja for the 3D cover of V Magazine. During the interview, Doja described “Kiss Me More” as a “different strut” in terms of the style, sounds, and genres she normally drawn to. “I’ve always wanted to try things. I commend artists who stick to something,” said Doja in the interview with SZA. “It feels pleasing aesthetically and very driven.” The music video is a disco, vintage style that Doja Cat and SZA had a lot of fun filming and working with. This song is just a glimpse of what to expect Doja’s new album to hold that will be released in the summer of 2021. Steam “Kiss Me More” on all platforms and check out the music video today!
