How are you taking charge of your music right now?
Ali: Being as honest as possible. Writing down/memoing an idea as SOON as I have it. Seeing an idea through.
How are you charging up while promoting your latest music?
Ali: I’m writing a lot for other artists right now... I have to do that for my mental health. If I’m heavily promoting music/have a few singles lined up, I like to shift my focus on writing for other people.
What is a big declaration you want to make known when it comes to your music?
Ali: Deep down, nobody knows what the hell is going on. So dance... kiss them... tell your friends they’re amazing, listen to people. We’re all human, we all hurt, cry laugh and feel. May as well wear glitter everywhere.
Is there more of you as an artist that fans haven't seen yet?
Ali: Yes... I’m gearing up to release a few songs and they both show sides of myself I’ve never really put on display.
What do you have lined up performance wise for your fans to listen to the music?
Ali: I’m playing a show in Nashville January 28th.... I’m going to link the tickets..it’s going to be so much fun. PLEASE come dance with me :)
Before you get into what you'll be making next, what is something that is the deal breaker for you on whether the project gets made?
Ali: I have to feel connected to the project. I write a lot of songs for myself/for other artists' projects that I think are really good. But for me to put it out there has to be a strong personal connection... something that I really believe in and want to hear an audience sing back to me.
